About Us

Consider Jesus Ministries spreads the Gospel across East Africa. Founded in 2006 by Ruth and her late husband, Rick Deam, It began with street evangelism in Kenya and now empower pastors, women, and communities through discipleship and training.

Our mission is to proclaim Christ and Him crucified. We envision a transformed East Africa where churches are strengthened, leaders are equipped, and every community encounters the life-changing power of Christ.

We believe our ministry partners are not simply people who give, pray, or help. They are fellow laborers and Kingdom investors, faithfully investing the resources God has entrusted to them into the eternal work of proclaiming Christ and equipping others through His Word. Some are called to go, others to pray, others to give, and others to serve with their time and abilities — but all are part of the mission God is accomplishing through this ministry.

Our vision is to see churches strengthened and believers equipped to boldly proclaim Christ, so that the power of the Gospel transforms communities.

Our Statement of Faith

  1. We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)
  2. We believe in one God eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
  3. We believe Jesus Christ is fully God — born of a virgin, sinless, crucified for our sins, risen from the dead, ascended to heaven, and returning again in glory. (Colossians 2:9; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4)
  4. We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. (Ephesians 2:8–9)
  5. We believe in Christ’s command to make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 28:19–20)
